Koch Media invests in online games specialist Infernum
Infernum Productions AG develops and markets free-to-play games in Europe and North America and the company currently claims more than 1.5 million players. For Koch Media, the decision to invest strategically in the company constitutes an investment in the rapidly growing market of free-to-play games.
For Infernum, the move secures an experienced partner for international rollouts and distribution of future projects, for example the recently licensed triple-A MMO Dragon’s Prophet. Both companies will profit from their complementary focuses in the games sector and harness synergies while continuing to operate independently.
